12-4-22. Basic 8x32 WL again. Clouds!!

Post by DeepSolar64 »

Today I barely got a view in at all. Around 17:20 UTC I used the 8x32 SUNoculars to very briefly observe through a thinner place in the overcast cloud deck. The clouds considerably dimmed the view letting me see only two spots marking AR13153 in the SE quadrant and with difficulty also see a spot marking AR13156 in the NE quadrant. Clouds covered the Sun before I could look for more. It''s 21:00 UTC as I type this and no other usable chance to view the Sun has presented itself. The temperature at the time of the brief observation was 50F ( 10C )

GONG WL offers a MUCH better view!!

James

You did MUCH better than I did, Aaron. This whole upcoming week does not look much better here. Clouds, rain and my wife has nasal surgery on Tuesday.

Mark,
That's what the next several days look like they are going to be here. Grey skies and rain. Good luck on bluer skies.

James
