A new day begins - January 17th

Post by RichardJ »

The sunspot groups are fabulous.
My wife and I observed the large spot with our eclipses glasses today.
Worth a look.

It’s amazing what can be seen when the Sun is active. Spots can easily be seen using just eclipse glasses and low magnification solar binoculars can show even more. A telescope becomes almost optional!
