Sun in Whitelight 17th January 2023

Post by steveward53 »

Happy New Year everybody ... :P

Been a while , first outing for me this year I think after weeks of grey skies.

A few technicals like dead focuser batteries and frost on every optical surface to deal with but got a few frames in the end.

Steve,
Yesterday on the 16th I thought the umbra of the large spot of AR13190 somewhat resembled a black cat. Now it's more misshapen with a big belly. Maybe She's pregnant so it's not a tomcat! :cat

Nice images!
