Comment on that large filament 1/19/2023

Post by rigel123 »

No imaging for me but has anyone else noticed how large that filament in the south has grown? If that makes it to the limb it should make for quite the prom on the limb! I was just viewing some of the time lapse videos on GONG and with the rotation it is starting to show just how tall it is and there is quite a bit of movement in it too. I won’t be surprised if it lifts off in the next few days.
