Missed it by that much! Up n Over uʍop ɹǝpun

Post by Peterm »

Howdy all,

I am still in the early experimenting stage with mosaics of the Sun with my ZWO 432MM and single stack Lunt 80mm @F35. Here is a 15 panel mosaic from data that was obtained this morning around UT 2022/01/20 21:07 to 21:09 or my local time Saturday morning 21st @ 703am to 709am, just before the clouds rolled in. You can see where I have missed data. I used Microsoft ICE (Image Composite Editor) to stitch together.

Anyways I am still very much in the learning phase here and happy for any thoughts you may have.

Thanks for looking.
Peter

Other than the missing parts it looks seamless! I have trouble with 2 panel mosaics, I can’t imagine doing 15 panels!
