26th Jan 2023, Last view of AR3190.

Post by JohnW »

26th Jan, SE Australia.
Had my last view of AR3190 this morning (26th Jan here) but 22.10 UT on 25th Jan.
I have attached two images - one from 24hrs earlier and the one from this morning.
AR3190 is just about the disappear over the western limb (see white arrow on 2nd image). It has been a good sunspot to watch and has been prominent in its crossing of the Sun's disc.
Both single exposures with Canon 550d, 81mm WO refractor and herschel wedge filtered at 540 nm.
Thanks for viewing.
John W.

Wonderful disks John. I managed 1 hours animation around the limb of near AR3190 absolute fireworks going on. Animation was spoiled by high cloud but I will see what I can retrieve as I had to dump heaps of images.

Beautiful images, John. Hoping 3190 will come back from the other side…
