one hour animation SW limb Up n Over uʍop ɹǝpun

Post by Peterm »

G'Day all on what has been a humid Australia Day Down Under

I was in 2 minds to post this or not as I had to drop so many high cloud affected images. But I wanted to show the absolute fireworks show happening on the SW limb as AR3190 departs our view. The animation was obtained over nearly one hour UT 2023/01/25 21:27 to 22:14  or my time Thursday 26th January 2023 727am to 814am. The animation has been rotated for viewing pleasure.

Thanks for looking.
Peter

Nice work Peter, It's good to see that AR3190 gave us a good show as it rounded the limb.

That's a crazy amount of action there, I bet you could study this outgoing region for hours and never get disappointed. Let's look foward to 2 weeks time when it returns :)

I've added this to the post for more enjoyment of the action

Thanks so much for doing this Alexandra. I had followed your notes exactly. "Go into full editor version of the message box (usually in this already if you create a new topic. Go to astrobin and right click on your image 'copy image address' in the editor title bar look for a symbol that when you hover over it says 'insert image' Click on it and then paste the image address exactly where the cursor is in between the two [image ] boxes"
But all it does is paste a link only.

I reckon I have done something amiss, any help appreciated.
As a PS I have tried as many ways as will pop up on SC editor but cannot get the final result as you have so I have no idea where I am going wrong.

All help muchly appreciated... you will even get my 3rd only ever emoji response, hehe!
Ta,
Peter

The key Peter is to hover your mouse over your image in Astrobin, right click and look at all the options. Only click on the 'copy image address' there are two, this is further down the list. Sometimes you get copy link address, this is not the correct one.

Then click on the button 9th along the top bar from the left, looks like a scenic view, paste the address between the imgs
