Stephen Ramsden is the administrator of CBSAP which includes the SolarChat forum. You should be able to contact him by sending him a private message, it's in the top-right corner of the page below the search bar. In the " Find a Member " field above the message field just below add recipient type in SolarChat. It is Stephen's username. When the search finds him select it to add him in the recipient field and then you can type him a message.

I hope this helps.

Do you do any solar observations or imaging on your own? Something directly solar? That's the primary perpose of this forum. To share and exchange our knowledge and abilities in solar observations while having fun doing it. It's so much easier and funner in a group!

Like you I access data from the NASA SDO, NSO GONG network and the KSO in Austria. Join Slooh and you can even get realtime video from their Lunt60 Ha telescope. One does not have to purchase their own equipment to view the Sun. It’s pretty amazing actually. The internet is awesome and then there is SolarChat to share your findings with! However there is still many merits on having your own equipment.
