AR 3140 and 3141 multiband

Post by Sergio Alessandrelli »

Hi to all

I've processed some pictures made the last november on the AR3140 and 3141, using different filters on the WO FLT132. Seeing was better than usual and I could made some decent images of the photosphere and the chromosphere. I like specially the CaK large band version were solar granules show their irregular shape. I finally made a mosaic to show all the images side by side.
Full resolution images are on my astrobin web page.

Bye ;)

That's a great comparison, especially regarding a 2.4A CaK filter vs a general 7nm 393 bandpass filter :bow :hamster:
