Another comet C/2022 E3-ZTF

Post by KMH »

This is the latest version of our comet picture from 1/26. My wife Peggy gets most of the credit because she's spent the last couple of weeks learning the details of comet processing in PixInsight - not easy!!!
Stellarvue 80mm APO f/6 with field flattener
Canon 6D DSLR
Stack of 80 images of 45 sec each.

Kevin and Peggy

Hi Kevin,

How did you find the comet ? Did you use EQMod and Stellarium ?

Thanks.

Magnus

I got the coordinates from a website called Heavens Above. It's a really useful site for locating planets, comets, artificial satellites, etc.
