halpha sun and WL of February 11

Post by stef41 »

hello to all,

it's so nice to spend part of the afternoon outside under (and on) the sun ! :)

The prominences are less impressive than in the middle of the week but the disk is really nice to observe .... and well speckled ;)

At the fs60 with its sm40 double stack, BF10, glasspath x1.7 and zwo178mm around 13h30 UT

Great shots Stephane! I’m out at the moment and just missed catching an X1.1 flare out of AR3217 by 15 minutes. I was imaging a different area of the sun!
