Solar Observations March 11 2023
Hi,
Please find attached images taken (Mar 11) in Hydrogen Alpha, Continuum
and Ca II K using a ZWO 174MM.
The telescope used was a SkyWatcher 120mm f7.5 Refractor and a TeleView 5X Powermate for closeups.
Hydrogen Alpha images were taken with a Daystar Quark Chromosphere Filter.
Continuum images were taken with a Baader Continuum Filter
and Baader AstroSolar Film ND5.
Ca II K images were taken using of a Lunt B600 filter.
The telescope was mounted on a HEQ5 Pro.
Seeing for the duration of the observations was average.
Regards,
Gerard

Re: Solar Observations March 11 2023
Thanks for your positive replies guys. They are much appreciated.
The day was not a total loss after all.
Originally it was going to be first light for my new ZWO533MM
but I could not get the camera to connect to the laptop.
No, it wasn't a faulty cable!
Regards,
Gerard
