G1/G2 Geomagnetic Storms 15th March 2023

Post by Carbon60 »

Here are my geomagnetic data recorded over recent days during which we have seen some beautiful aurora resulting from the arrival of a couple of CMEs, which triggered G1 and G1 geomagnetic storms. These were easily detected on my magnetometer running 24/7 here in the UK.

Thank you to those of you who attended the zoom call last Sunday when I described my work in this field. Hopefully it all made sense. :)

Brilliant!
Could you also tell us the way to access the data from Chambon la Foret which you used to show us how similar your data is to that from the professionals? I'd like to have a read!
Thanks
Nic

Many thanks Alexandra and Nic.

Nic, the organisation is ‘Intermagnet’, found here https://www.intermagnet.org/index-eng.php

Their data plotting service is here https://www.intermagnet.org/data-donnee ... ot-eng.php
Observatories can be found under the drop down menu.

I hope this helps.
