A prom landscape

Post by GUS »

Sketched on Saturday the 18th of march 2023 between 8.30 and 10.30 am local time (near Sydney Australia) as seen through a Lunt LS100THa singlestack at 90 and 143x magnification. It was a beautiful sunny day, seeing was good and temps were in the early 30 degrees C. Middle sketch shows location of the major proms in relation to each other.

Beautiful drawings. Better than the camera.

I do not look at the sky with the eyes of an astronomer, but of a person looking for the beauty of nature.

Wonderful sketches, gives very good impression about everchanging shapes of the prominences.

In the hands of a skilled sketcher it's the best way to record visual observations. :bow
