Just a few in Ha from this morning 27th March 2023

Post by Carbon60 »

I was anticipating a beautiful day, given the weather reports, but as it turned out the blue was transient. There was only enough time to set up on my 150 mm double stacked Ha scope and capture a few images before the sky took a turn for the worse, and that was that....

Better than nothing and the seeing wasn't too bad, so I can't really complain.

Anyhow, here are the results:

At least the Sun is higher in the sky in the morning and starting to be well clear of my neighbour's rooftops.

Thanks for looking.

Stu.

These look really good, Stuart. The filaments show up really well and with nice detail. Your contrast is excellent and the image are sharp but not over-sharpened. And that's a nice filaprom too!!

I hope to image prominences tomorrow. If the weather allows it.

James
