Late afternoon images 9th May 2023
The day started grey, but luckily things brightened up by mid afternoon and a little later the sky was clear enough to get the scopes out. I'm not usually a fan of afternoon imaging from my location, but given the poor weather outlook for the rest of the week, I figured I'd give it a go. Surprisingly the seeing conditions were actually not too bad.

Back to clouds and rain tomorrow and much of the rest of the week if the forecast is to be believed.
Thanks for looking.

A traditionally beautiful set of photos.
The entire discs and details are beautifully detailed and perfectly processed.

I do not look at the sky with the eyes of an astronomer, but of a person looking for the beauty of nature.
