Big day on 5/10/2023

Had clear skies all day so made hay while the sun shined (except when a small cloud interfered with the WL full disk)! Started WL with the Orion ED80T and Lunt WL Wedge, then added the 40mm mask and changed over to the Lunt CaK BF1200 and then finally put the Lunt LS60T DS on and caught 3 animations. The first of the NW limb and the M2.2 flare at AR3296 that covers 1 hr 10 min, the next was the NE limb and some quiescent proms, and then finally a decent eruption on the SW limb of just over 1 hour and I wished I could have gone a bit longer but clouds decided to scuttle by. Great day!

Fantastic photos and superb animation.
I'm going to make some animation, but I don't have the conditions for it yet. I look forward to sunny days when the sun will shine continuously for several hours without clouds.

These are incredible. So beautiful and a wealth of information is found within them. Your skills with scope and camera/software are certainly to be admired. All are sharp and show a wealth of detail. Ha is nice, WL is sharp and the animations speak for themselves. And the CaK images are just gorgeous!
