Interesting experiment in H-alpha on AR150/F24 21.05.

I modified one BF from the Quark combo into a T2 and tried to put it in front of the TZ2 today. Image quality has improved significantly. It was a big surprise for me. Next time I will try it on another telescope to verify that this solution is universal. In the attachment there are 10 stacked images, they are stretched without modifications and a standard processed image.

I make mounts with harmonic gearboxes myself. I use quality Japanese size 20 HD gearboxes, not Chinese size 17 copies.
The small mount will reliably support 20kg and handle a 2m giraffe (N200/ F10).
The only weakness is the tripod.

The surface of the hand is almost healed, but the 4 cm of duralumin that went in has done enough damage there that it will be weeks before the index finger is functional and it is possible that the damage to the joint will be permanent.
I'm going through a period where the nerve connections are being rewired inside, which is quite unpleasant and painful. It usually takes 14 days. I already have experience with it. It's not the first time I've played doctor.

I don't want to weed the sun topic here, but I don't have a medical facility within reach where I can safely entrust myself to the care of doctors. Although I only have 5 semesters of medicine, I think I can evaluate when I need a surgeon's intervention. I was very lucky that the duralumin didn't cut my tendons and break my bones. The energy must have been huge, as it also bruised the surrounding two fingers. No available doctor can fix a damaged joint. I would just risk an order of magnitude bigger problem than I have. I firmly believe that work rehabilitation will bear fruit and in two months the hand will be fully functional. You can work with it, and I probably won't play the guitar anymore, but I'll survive.

Good luck in your healing. Doctors are certainly not equal everywhere and all are expensive. It's a good thing that you do have some medical training. That can be useful. I am glad you did not suffer any more damage than what you did.

Keep those awesome images coming. Your scopes and imaging skills are impressive.
