A variety from May 21

Post by gabrieli »

"Sunny" skies predicted for this day were sunny with variable, wandering haze but there certainly were many interesting features to look at. I started imaging with a single stacked Stellarvue 127 + Quark for some higher res images and then turned to my double stacked LS60 MT for some full disks.

I used an original Quark on my Stellarvue 127 for a focal length of 4400 mm with either an ASI1600 or Player One 533.

For the LS60MT images, I used a Baader 2.3X Barlow with an ASI1600. This gave me two images, each of which covered 3/4 of a full disk, then assembled into a full disk.

Superb.

I do not look at the sky with the eyes of an astronomer, but of a person looking for the beauty of nature.
