Hello Everybody,
I'm finally catching up with processing. I have mainly been interested in seeing what my new Williams Optics FLT120 can do with a Herschel Wedge. I spent quite some time comparing a Baader Continuum Filter to a inexpensive ND filter (eyepiece Moon filter, ND1.2). I know many here prefer the Continuum Filter, but I generally thought I had better contrast and resolution with the ND filter. I started late morning with a little Halpha until clouds rolled in. Several hours later, it clear up and I finally got my first images with the FTL120.

A fantastic set there Steve I think everyone has their favourite filter for viewing the Sun, it's a question of trying them all

Re: Catching Up
Interesting comparisons Steve. The ND filter seems to have done a pretty good job.
