Celestron extends their line of Eclipsmart Solar Binoculars for 2024 Eclipse!

Post by Solarscout »

https://www.celestron.com/products/ecli ... binoculars

Now there are sizes up to 20x50 Eclipsmart binoculars. I own the Meade Eclipseview 10x50 binoculars with removeable filters but the screwing system on the side leaves dents onto the body.

Do you use any of these binoculars?

Nice! They have 12x50 and 20x50s. A tripod will be needed for those though. I have a set of Lunt 8x32s.

Images from EclipseView binoculars. Phone doesn't pick up sunspots visible to the eyes though

The trick is getting the sun focused sharp enough in the phone and with the right exposure to show the spots.

I've seen the addition of the larger sizes. Quite tempted to try a pair of the 10x42s
