FD solar chromosphere mosaic from last December (29 panel)
Hi to all
I've just uploaded on Astrobin my last H-Alpha solar chromosphere mosaic (29 panels).
Images are from the last December 2022 (20221220). I used my FLT 132 apo, with a full aperture D-ERF, TZ4 lens and a SolarSpectrum SO 1, 0.5A
Seeing wasn't so good, sun very low, but result isn't so bad.
Here the link to full resolution images/data:

Good disk Sergio, you are more patient than me with the mosaics!

Sergio, you are a very patient man. I can imagine how difficult it is to collect so many fragments.

With a proper allignment of the camera collectig frames is relativelly fast and also the stack with the batch processing of Autostakert. The problem is to merge the resulting panels and to correct vignetting and off band of my filter.

Re: FD solar chromosphere mosaic from last December (29 panel)
Due to the changes of seeing, it can be difficult to assemble a uniform mosaic.
What shooting parameters did you use, and how long did it take to shoot one fragment?
If you are assembling a mosaic in Photoshop using Fotomerge, then there is a function for removing vignetting.

Re: FD solar chromosphere mosaic from last December (29 panel)
Yes, really difficult... I shot each panel collecting 1500/2000 frames at 76fps or 155fps (12bit or 8 bit) with exposure time of about 4-6/1000s, medium/low gamma to reduce vignetting effect. Than I use autopano pro for the merge, it has a vignetting reducing function but for the out of band zone it doesn't work and I have to correct contracts and sharpening with PS.
