Solar Chromosphere 27 May 2023

Post by xinghai »

A sunny day but strong Jet streams blow from west to east in this season. Difficult to get a good focus

I am still learning how to setup the right color and wondering how to made it match to a 'Golden' like color. Please help! :bow

Hi Xinghai,
Use the red, green and blue curves function in a photo editor, GIMP, Photoshop, PixInsight…..

Drop the blue, reduce green a bit and increase red a bit in the mid-tones. Iterate to deepen the effect.
It takes practice :)

It's a lovely shot :bow :hamster: Stu gives some great advice. I would start off with a positive image and you will find it easier to colour.
