This morning I woke up with a headache and felt sick and dizzy. After checking the computer and finding the internet still down I layed back down and checked SolarChat on my iPhone and then downloaded some current pics from the SDO, KSO and GONG. Then getting up and looking outside I see the sky to be overcast. I then went back to bed and slept until 1:30 pm. The headache is still there and I am feeling a bit nauseated so I call out of work for the day. Then after talking to a friend I then cook me some hash and rice and then grab the Lunt 8x32 WL SUNoculars noticing the sky has some blue gaps between the high clouds present. After eating and completing the observation I come in and notice the internet is back up on the computer. But for how long I wonder. I then copy and move some files from my phone and then came here to post today's basic observations. So here it is.
MY session time was between 20:00 and 20:10 UTC. Partly cloudy skies. The temperature was 77F ( 25C )
I can see AR13320 in the NE quadrant has a small spot. AR13318 in the NW quadrant near the limb shows itself as a small spot. AR13315 in the SW quadrant is approaching the limb and can be seen as two side by side spots. To its east but still in the SW quadrant lies AR13119. It's easily seen as two side by side spots. AR13321 is seen as an easy single spot in the SE quadrant. Just to it's NE lies AR13323 which is seen as three close together spots in a line.
Well, it's back to bed for me shortly. Stay well everyone.
James

Re: June 1 2023. SUNoculars again.
Sorry to hear you're feeling under the weather JAmes, hope you back to yourself soon. The image you posted above is very similar to my view through the sunoculars yesterday afternoon. I've had a few peeks with them this morning with the sun still in the clouds but the haze is too much really to see the spots properly.

Re: June 1 2023. SUNoculars again.
Mark and Alexandra,
I am feeling quite a bit better today but still just a little woozy. I am heading out very shortly to see what the sky is like to figure out how to tackle the Sun today. Have a nice weekend, both of you.
James

Yeah. A lot better. I was still a little off this morning but by work time I was back to normal. I did get an imaging session in today.
