Variable clouds were predicted and delivered with some gaps allowing about 500 - 600 frames before passing clouds would spoil the view. For the first time this season, I took out my LS152 double stacked with an original Quark. The LS152 seems heavier every year but still works perfectly with the pressure tuner doing its job despite feeling very light to turn. I wanted some good contrasty limb shots since the limb was getting interesting with proms and active regions near each other.
I used a Player One 533SQ camera with its great sensitivity. Here are some images that squeeked through.

Re: Out on the limb on June1/23
I have 2 Player One cameras but have yet to set up te sensor tilt feature. The Player One website has a link to istructions on how to do this but the linked page is not active yet. I want to be sure I adjust the right screws.

Very nice photos.
Adjusting the tilt is easy. You loosen 2 larger screws and only slightly the third one. For those that are allowed, use the small ones to set the greatest possible tilt. Then you can easily tighten all 3.

I do not look at the sky with the eyes of an astronomer, but of a person looking for the beauty of nature.
