Friday Sun 2nd June 2023

Post by Carbon60 »

2nd June already….this year is flying by.
Here are some images captured this morning on my 150 mm refractor at f34. I measured the seeing to be an average of 2.2 arc seconds, but quite variable according to my SSM. I also made a couple of mosaics to create FDs in CaK and Ha. Anyhow, here are the results:

CaK FDs (4 panes)

H-alpha (9 panes)

Active regions 13321 and 13323 mid flare(s) as 8 pane mosaics.

…and a nice large filament. This could collapse in the coming hours given it’s size. One to keep an eye on :)

Thanks for looking.
