Much activity on June 8

Post by gabrieli »

Forest fires in Quebec have been affecting both the US east coast and my area in Woodbridge north of Toronto over the last couple of days with June 6 being the worst day with haze and burning wood smell in the air. during the last session (June 7), the haze and odour were still present, though not as bad as before. The seeing was pretty good for this area. There were a few areas with impressive proms around the disk. I took the time to do a few full disks (LS60MT, DS) and some prom images (Stellarvue 127 SS).

Sorry about the images being reversed horizontally.
