Sun images from Melbourne 8 June 2023

Post by Averton »

A whole 2 hours of un-forecast sunshine this morning - what a treat! Grabbed the gear and grabbed some images, first for a week. Heaps of changes and new regions since we last saw the sun and plenty of good proms today.

Wow!! what a terrific view :bow :hamster: it must be mid winter for you, what kind of temperatures do you get (any snow)?

Thanks Alexandra :)
Yes, we are well into winter weather which started quite early this year. It's very rare for snow to fall in Melbourne and if it does it doesn't stay on the ground for very long. Although we are definite wimps, the reality is our cold weather is particularly mild. A day with a maximum temperature <10C doesn't happen very often. Today's images were taken in 15C.

Yeh, it definitely was a great view yesterday - more so because we hadn't seen the sun for so long :)
