Hi,
I'm trying to get my colour PGR Blackfly to work properly in Firecapture 2.6. From what I remember (4+ years ago) it worked fine.
However, in the Debayer section of Firecapture, none of the tick boxes work so I can't change the debayer algorithm. How do I get them to be not greyed out? Currently the live view is a 6x6 matrix of black and white.
If I go to Flycapture (terrible software) it works fine and is in colour so I know the camera works properly.
I feel I am missing a click box somewhere.
Many thanks for your help
Alexandra

Re: Colour PGR Blackfly / Firecapture problems
The problem will probably be in the SDK of the respective camera. FC 2.6 uses an SDK that is out of date and probably conflicts with the camera drivers for Windows. Try FC ver. 3. It works with a newer SDK. I have a similar problem with the Altair 183M, where BIN does not work in FC, so the camera is unusable in it, and I wait in vain for the manufacturer to release a new SDK.

Thanks Petr, I can't find FC version 3 but I will download version 2.5 as it used to work with this 4 years ago. Maybe this newer version 2.6 is not compatible.

That doesn't work, 2.5 won't even open with the camera now and yet it used to work with it

Re: Colour PGR Blackfly / Firecapture problems
Version 2.7 is on the Firecapture website and there is an e.mail contact sheet you can send to Torsten. He may be able to help.

Re: Colour PGR Blackfly / Firecapture problems
Thanks Warren,
The FLIR cameras are the bane of my life. Unfortunately v2.7 doesn't work on my PC and Torsten did a fix work around to get 2.6 to work. I've tried everything I know to get the Blackfly to work. I can't set the the debayer as they are greyed out. It will record a ser file and I can set the debayer in Autostakkert and it works. However, I have no preview in Fire capture so it will be very hard to focus and find the target. So it half works
