LuSol Guide Windows 11 camera not detected

Post by Martin_S »

I've been using this app for a while on my windows 10 laptop with no problems. I thought I would try it on my Windows 11 PC .
For some reason it will not detect the camera. Does anybody have any Idea why I am having this issue?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated , thank you.

Skywatcher 120mm F8.3 open frame refractor, a tilted 2" Antlia dual band filter as a sub energy rejection filter, Flip Mirror to either a Baader TZ4 telecentric focal extender, Player One energy rejection filter, Combo Quark Chromosphere, Naked PST etalon for double stacking, ASI74mm camera, or an Antlia 5a Cak filter, ASI290mm camera. 120mm aperture is stopped down to 80mm for Cak.

LuSol needs the DirectX "DirectShow" camera driver installed.
Sometimes listed as "legacy camera drivers".
PlayerOne: select "Camera DirectShow Driver"
ZWO: go to "Others" then "DirectShow Driver"

I use LuSol + ZWO ASI 120MM Mini.

Although I spent the best part of 4 hours levelling/tweaking/undrifting on my erratic "Italian pseudo conrete slate" patio that I can stay aligned now for 30 minutes before nudging. My tripod footprint is now perma-marked on the patio and the tripod leg clamps are now tighter than a Nuns knickers. One of the legs on my iOptron tripod doesn't bind unless anger is liberally applied.
