28 March 2024

Post by solar »

The monster active area 3614 is nearing the western limb now.
I am hoping for some clear sky in the morning for a farewell look.
In the meantime this is some of what I saw this morning.
The animation (1 Hr and 55min )is from the day before and the images from today covering AR 3614, 3615 and 3619.
A couple of nice filaments as well. See was coming and going around the average mark. 6/10
Animation and first four images are with my standard rig - Lunt 100 DS with ZWO 432 mm at F35.
The last 2 images are with my Vixen 130mm and a Quark Chromo.

Fabulous set, plus the animo.

Sadly it looks like the best spots will have gone by the time we get rid of this cloud. My 'scopes are itching!
