Wow a lot of stuff is going on! 5/10/2024

It's getting tough to keep up with all of the fantastic posts and process all the stuff I'm catching lately, but I'm not complaining! From multiple X-class flares to huge CME's and Aurora in very southern localities it has been a major week!! What a maximum this is turning out to be! From yesterday, after I posted that floating prom, coronal rain animation I got to the first animation I captured when I was battling clouds all the way. When I first set up I noticed the bright flare at AR3664 and as it continued to brighten as I was capturing it I was sure it had to be an X-class. But just a "meager" M5.97! Only got 25 minutes on that one and then later, after the floating prom, I got 35 minutes of departing AR3663 which also put on a decent show. So here is the full disk showing all the fun stuff to try and decide what to focus on, and the two animations.
