Disks and Animations on 5/19/2024

Post by rigel123 »

I was treated to the best seeing I have seen in a long time so I spent about 4 hours capturing animations of the SE Limb and Western Limb as well as disks in Ha, CaK and WL. Each animation was 70 minutes in time. I did miss the M Class flare that occurred during this time but glad I caught some nice movement in the proms. Usual equipment, Ha - Lunt LS60T DS CaK - Orion ED80T masked to 40mm and Lunt BF1200 CaK WL - Orion ED80T and Lunt 1.25 WL Wedge and Baader Continuum Filter. Player One Saturn-M SQR
